I learned early the importance of fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs in our diet. In Thailand, where I grew up, fresh fruits and vegetables are never out of season.
Today, I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US. We have local co-ops and farmers’ markets. Even in the coldest winter months, we can find good local produce. Some farmers’ markets are open all year round.

Most of my ingredients are fresh and raw. What I can’t get from local sources will be found at the supermarket or the Asian grocery. I do use some packaged foods – like olive oil, coconut milk and soy sauce that are very minimally processed.
I cook traditional Thai food for vegan living. Food that’s good to eat, good for health, good for life.
